Description

Floor adhesive is often overlooked in healthy home discussions, yet it can be a significant source of indoor air pollution during and after installation. Bona R848T represents the current state of the art in low-emission flooring adhesives.

  • EMICODE EC1 Plus certified: The most stringent European standard for low-emission building products. Emissions are virtually undetectable after installation.
  • No isocyanates: Unlike some reactive adhesives, silane technology does not contain harmful isocyanates.

Technical performance:

Suitable for all wood floor types including solid hardwood up to 22mm thick and engineered boards. Compatible with underfloor heating systems. Can be used on most subfloors including concrete, screeds, and existing flooring. Open time of approximately 60 minutes allows comfortable working.

Application:

Apply with notched trowel to prepared subfloor. B15 trowel recommended for solid wood; B11 for engineered. Install flooring into wet adhesive. Full cure in 24-48 hours depending on conditions. Professional installation recommended.
